Chronic pancreatitis can present as episodes of acute inflammation in a previously injured pancreas, or as chronic damage with persistent pain or malabsorption. Patients with chronic pancreatitis can present with persistent abdominal pain or steatorrhea, as well as severe nausea. Some patients with chronic pancreatitis often look very sick, while others don't appear to be...
I have read that some people with pancreatitis do not have pain. I don't know why this is. Have you talked with your doctor about it? I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
I do know that losing weight with pancreatitis is not a good sign. Since your were diagnosed a year ago, do you have regular visits with your doctor? He should be monitoring your vitals, including your weight.

AT HOME I CHECK MY SUGAR BLOOD LEVELS WICH ARE JUS A LITTLE BEAT HIGH, AND THANKS GOD NOT ENOUGH FOR MEDICATION YET. MY BLOOD PRESSURE SEEMS LIKE IT'S OK.
I DO SOME EXERCISE EVERY DAY AND WITH A DIET I KEEP MY SUGAR LEVELS ALMOST LIKE NORMAL. ANYWAYS IN THE PAST DAYS I INCREASE THE INTAKE OF CARBS TO TRY TO GAIN SOME WEIGHT, I EAT A MEDIUM BREAKFAST AND DURING THE DAY TWO SNACKS. BY THE END OF THE DAY A SMALL DINNER BUT I DON'T SEE AN EXTRA POUND.
I ALMOST NEW ON THIS, AND I UNDERSTAND HOW DIFFICULT IS FOR EVERYONE OF US WITH CP. THANKS FOR READING MY COMMENTS AND FOR YOUR ADVISES.
