My CAT scan in October showed no sign of my pseudocyst or pancreatitis. I've been told that my one and only acute pancreatitis back in January 2012 was caused by my gall bladder that I really don't have a pancreatitis issue now.
But I'm not so sure. I have been eating more a more like I used to since October (even though back then I had a SLIGHT ache near my left ribs and under my breast)
This ache is getting worse. I notice that some of you have an ache under your left breast.
I've been eating pizza, buffets, a donut here and there, girl scout cookies. I can't say that this ache gets worse just eating this way..but it has progressively gotten worse since October.
Those that have this ache...does it feel like a bruise when you touch the area just on the rib cage? Also, today it felt like worms crawling around or for women who have been pregnant, a baby kicking.
I've decided to go back to my pancreatic diet to see if this helps. I had NO PROBLEM eating correctly before my CAT scan because of FEAR. But since they keep telling me not to worry, I've been eating and loving bad food again..no will power. But lately, I'm getting a bit scared and so today for the first day, I dare don't eat anything with much fat.
So my question is...is this area sore to the touch...like a bruise?

5. Referred pain
In certain instances there can be a referred pain to the shoulder and it can be felt as a collarbone pain. Diaphramatic irritation following liver disease or pancreatitis can give rise to these kinds of pains.
I fell out of bed last week..thought I had room to turn over and didn't. I have collar bone pain for a few days now but thought it was from my fall..but now I find this interesting because the worsening of my side ache was about when my collar bone started hurting.
Anyone else have collarbone troubles?
I get the twitching (as if a baby is kicking) in that same area, as well as sternum and the right side. I actually get this after eating, and almost daily. I had my first bout of these odd twitches after my first flare. I asked this same question on another board and several people also experienced this. I have no clue what it is though-cant be the pancreas itself-its too deep. I can actually even feel the thumping if I put my hand over it. Im thinking its spasms of some sort
I have a lot of back issues and at times wonder if what I am feeling is some kind of nerve damage from my spine because I've adding fat to my diet since October when the CAT scan showed nothing. I get a lot of muscle cramps in my calve and foot and toe. I've determine that these are NOT from lack of vitamins or minerals. As my back pain changes, the nightly cramps move to a different part of my leg/foot. I keep telling myself these aches can't possibly be my pancreas. I DON'T WANT THAT. But I just can't help thinking it is.
I'm getting married next week and then I will have new medical. Not sure if it is as good as what I had. With Obamacare I can't go to sutter doctors in this current plan. I love Sutter Health....John is with the coast guard so its government health care. I'm just hoping that if there still is something wrong with my pancreas or the pseudocyst is back, they will take care of it as good at Dr Binmoeller did.
I know I worry too much.
Going shopping now for my old go to low fat food. My list is very small. So sad to go back to eating the way I did for 10 months. I don't know how I did it. I have to say it's been a joy to eat regular food the last 4 months..Oh well..Maybe I will lose the 11 pounds I gained back.
I would think if I did that, and the pain goes away, that's a sure sign too that it is my pancreas.
I get muscle twitching all over my body-sometimes hundreds per day, and stinging pains. I need to get a fat soluable vitamin check as thats the only thing I think could be causing it at this point.
Are you on enzymes?
I def have the same feelings under the left breast. And the span of my pain is about the size of a half dollar, I can point to exactly where it is.
I too dont want it to be my pancreas, esp since I lost my dad to PC-but at this point, everything else we have ruled out, enzymes now seem to be helping and lipase is always up-so no denying it for me now
