Tumor Obstruction Bile Duct?

My friend has been diagnosed with pancreatic Cancer last December, and has been on Chemo since then, which has made her very sick and extremely tired,two days ago we notice her skin had changed colour and her eyes yellowed, she was diagnosed with jaundice and tld her tumo had grown and was obstructing the bile duct, she has had an operation fitting a stent to drain away the bile. She is in a lot of pain. Has anyone ever gone through this, and can tell me what to expect?

my brother died from PC 3 years ago...all these stories sound familiar which shows how typical the effects of this horrible disease is. I wish the people with the disease comfort and peace and the family members who will never forget the nightmare strength and will to keep going.

my husband has gone down hill in a matter of 4 weeks since his diagnosis, he has lost over 30 pounds, sleeps little, eats litttle, he has pain but not severe, i am scared for what is to come and afraid for my children 15 and 17 that they will experience this. after reading the other comments i am thankful for today where he felt good enough to take care of things he feels necessary...all so unexpected still in disbelief he is a fighter but has lost some of that due to all the difficulties

I am sorry to hear about your husband. My husband went to be with the Lord after 14 weeks of being told he had pancreatic cancer. He passed July 27, 2008. It was so sudden and he went from being a very healthy man to wasting away. My dad just passed June 11 of this year. He lived with good health for a year from his diagnosis, I am praying for you and your children.
