I had a HIDA scan and it was determined that I have a very poorly functioning gallbladder and it needs to come out....20% function at that time.
Ok, then they said my common bile duct is at 10mm, ok, but they are concerned about the greasy stools and the mid back pain, it could be, and then they said it...pancreatic!
I'm 51 and scheduled for laproscopic GB removal on 12/28/12 and am so worried about what they will find. They did a abdominal CT in Feb, all ok, did an US in early Sept all ok, he really thinks it's the GB, but the pain is mid back and on the left. How worried should I be?

Have they done a lipase test for your pancreas? Doesnt sound like its even inflammed. I wouldnt worry.
I have such pain in the small of my back. I have pain up under my left rib cage as well as my right. My back pain worsens upon movement and inhalation. I have to force myself to eat and drink, I sleep very little. I've lost 20 lbs. but am currently holding steady. It's Christmas and all I want to do is see my son so I can tell him I love him...it's been 8 mos since I've seen him. There is no one to take care of me or help me through this.
Dying is scary, but the pain in getting there is what scares me most. I'm just trying to get to next week w/o losing it.
