I have been silent for a while. My husband had the Wipple in May 2011. He followed with chemo and radiation. His cancer was staged III. He was on an upswing this past summer and fall. The first of December the CT Scan showed the cancer has returned to the point of surgery. Oncolgist said that he is not a candadiate for chemo or other treatment. Scheduling a PET Scan and than discussing palative care with the oncologist. This has been a very tough journey and just gets tougher. Please keep us in your prayers.

Sorry he had a re-occurence. This is so common after a Whipple, I'm almost glad I did not have to make the decision to have one (no point as when found, mine had already spread too far). I hope he enjoys his time left as much as possible; in my case my time alive with PC has been much longer than expected (now going on 33 mos. with Stage 4).

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
