This is called The Rite of Election.
On Holy Saturday, April 7, 2012, the night before Easter, I will receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and my first Holy Communion. This will complete the first stage of my journey as a Catholic in Christ.
On February 25, 2012, I had another TIA ( Transient Isochemic Attack ) which emulates the stroke I experienced February 5, 2009. During that time, I lose the use of the right side of my body but since I had no knowledge of it happening to me, I fell multiple times ( maybe 10 ).. Bruised & battered though i was from striking various parts my head and torso off of the walls, etc. I had no fractures and no broken bones.. My Guardian Angel and , I believe, the scapular I was wearing with prayers always in my mind , preserved me as God had my back.
I survived for this day, & hopefully , a few more... Thank you God ! ( And thank ALL of you at DS for your awesome prayers !! )
