Over The Fence Community Group
A quote from one of our happy Over The Fence members: "Hi JS- Thank you for the welcome message. Do you remember that show Home Improvement and the neighbor Wilson Wilson Jr. who would meet Tim the Tool Man at the fence, but never showed anything but his eyes? He was so funny. This group reminds me of those encounters... you get the wisdom, humor, and support from your DS...

Since I've been out of work and now retired, I've had a lot of time to watch far too much TV. And, I'm beginning to wonder if people's lives are so dull that they watch some very strange shows. For example; do we really want to know what goes on in a pawn shop? Do really want to watch people battle for the contents of storage lockers? Do we really want to watch an exterminator? Do we really want to watch "celebrities" that their only claim to fame is being on TV? Or do we want to watch rich housewives? I'll admit I'm stuck on two similar shows. I love "Deadliest Catch" There's never a dull moment, but with all they go through, I'm surprised crab isn't a hundred dollars a pound. And I'm stuck on "American Pickers" mainly because some of the stuff they pick, I remember. Are you stuck on "odd" shows?

It still chokes me up. I had tears in my eyes again. I love Ted Lasso and would highly recommend watching it if you can. It is on Apple TV now season 4 episode 1 dropped on Wed and will continue dropping each Wed until season ends some time later this year.I must add I will gladly be paying the $19.99 per month to get these shows each week after my free 30day trial of apple tv ends from buying a...

Have you heard that about 80% of storage lockers bought at auction are absolute trash? Hope viewers realize this and don't get sucked in.
Don't watch any of the Real Housewives programs (who cares) or other reality TV like The Bachelor or whatever. Watched Idol for years but grew tired of it. I have seen Deadliest Catch and wonder how any come home with their lives and you are right - how come crab isn't $100/lb.?
American Pickers are cute, and you can also learn about history of American objects.
My guilty pleasure is Hoarders and Hoarders: Buried Alive. Eww...makes me go clean out a closet!
Thanks for this fun topic.

Used to love to watch MTV when their were NO commercials or reality shows on it. Now it is not the same channel, as it used to be.
I only have basic basic bare bones cable now. I can still watch those shows. But don't anymore. I listen to music, a lot.
I don't think I have even turned on my TV for a week or more!
That is amazing to me, I was a TV junkie, had it on ALL the time, for company I guess.
We watch these nutty politicians every day on the news ,,,am glued here lately as they say the social security checks may not be sent out,,,,I would think it would be unconstitutional since our president took an oath to protect the general welfare of the people,,,,
I do love Dancing with the Stars and American Idol also shows that take very little concentration.

I do enjoy Americas Got Talent - mainly, because I think Howie Mandel is one of the funniest men on the face of the earth.
I like Dr.G - Medical Examiner
I like Law and Order Criminal Intent (with Goren and Eames, actors Vincent D’Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe)
I still watch Golden Girl in the middle of the night on HALLMARK
I think that's an odd enough mix....
