HUGS
Celebrating life today.
And so, so thankful for our support group.
And most especially congratulations on having such a marvelous daughter!
I just finished my last chemo on Monday, June 6, as well. My daughters have been like rocks of comfort and strength. Perhaps it is the silver lining in the disease when we find out how much we are loved and cherished.
As for celebration, my sister came to stay with me for a couple nights during the days folllowing my last chemo (I find it really helpful to have someone to divert me) and we cracked a bottle of champagne over a lovely dinner of grilled fish and vegetables.
the best to all of you.
My prayers are with all of us for long and joyful life.
I just joined the dailystrength.org and I saw your posting. My Mom was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in September 2010. She has her ups and downs but I pray in the end she will come out the winner.
I'm so happy to hear that your Mom is doing well, is in remission and no longer has to go through Chemo. I truly wish that she lives the rest of her life healthy and disease free. Congratulations, big hug to you and your Mom! Take care!
