as I type this with my neuropathy tingling fingers I am recovering from my 7th and last chemo.
my first symptom was a prolapse too but it was the distended, painful abdomen that sent me to the hospital.
by now I am cancer free and recovering very well.
I identify with your mother and please send her my continued wishes for her health.
I love you more then you know

Her story is actually quite similar to mine. In October 2010, I was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer, and I am one of the very fortunate people who has remained in remission since my initial chemotherapy sessions. My CA 125 has remained between 9 and 12, and I am thankful for that as I know not everyone is that fortunate.
May you and your mother enjoy many more years together. Your mother and you might be interested in finding a local branch of the ovarian cancer alliance. I've made many good friends there. Diane
