Based on his behavior now, I hope not, but I don't put cheating past anyone. It wouldn't be a one night stand. It would be someone that he became close to and it turned into more. The only good thing is that he doesn't keep many female friends. I plan on joining him in this behavior here on out.
My H doesn't attract women easily but if he did, I think he'd probably cheat for revenge.
Honestly, I never worry about it.
We both live w/ this fear..
I admit there are no guarantees.. so I suppose he could walk away anytime it suits him..
Love is a choice.. and so my only guarantee is to get up each day and to be his wife, and show him love & understanding.. and support.. and so on and so forth.. and just hope for the best..
And look where we are now.
Just saying.
Ironically when I had mentioned this to my H when we were dating, his comment was, "why would anyone cheat on you." But yet he did too......Must be me...lol....
I also believe that he could fall in love with someone else and if he did and decided to leave me, he would. Once he makes up his mind about something, he does it. I doubt I would have any chance making him change it. So, far in 30 years he still love me very much and I hope that I can keep it that way.
I don't think that he thought that I would ever cheat, and neither did I.
IBEX,, thanks.. that was thoughtful. No spouse enters a marriage thinking the other will cheat. At one point, however, one DOES. Since you did ( not you personally) and never thought you would, I was just wondering under what circumstance you think your spouse would.
Just a question for debate/discussion..no harm.
