Been a bad week. My son said something to another studennt at school and ended up in behavioral hospital for a week. Its been tramatic for both of us. I miss him so much. He is 10. Anyway dr put him on respirdal. Just wondering what is ur experience with it.
Some rare people respond well to rhipserdol; I have a co-worker who works well with it.
I however, do not.
As well, boys tend to gain weight because somehow the drug seems to make one hungry, according to my son's psychiatrist.
Geodon seems okay-just watch the blood proteins.
Abilify seems okay mostly-watch for rashes.
Xanax is good just watch for milder weight gain and sleep.
But, look at your own chemistry and work with the doctor in a cooperate/collaborative research based way that will guaruntee the best choice.
Well, for this person, that is what they should do.
