i hate that i have to keep my guard up at home
I realized last night that I need emotional karate!! If this was physical abuse, I would use regular karate to defend myself; but since Nate likes to mess w/my head, I need emotional karate. I found out that K** let J**** move back home yesterday. I hope this will change both Nate’s and J**** attitudes. I also ordered the “parent mgmt. training” book for children w/ODD. Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

Lies, yup, disappointment and mistrust added to the mixture just adds to the 'party in your head' I call this the cute hamster on the circle wheel....meaning I'm the one on the wheel, exhausted, and never finding an ending.
Best of luck as you process and Know 'you are not alone, or you are validated with compassion'.
