What does an open mind mean to you?
I consider myself a hardcore skeptic. I am well versed in the ways of science and in the fallibility of the human mind. I love to think, and to embrace new ideas...
That being said, I am far from a new-age mystic. I don't believe that aliens are walking among us. Why? Not because I am closed minded, but because in all of the thousands of cases not a single one has been substantiated. I don't believe in spirit guides. I don't believe in telepathy, horoscopes, psychics, faith healing, or crystals. Does this make me closed minded? I once believed in all of these things. Scientific evidence has not supported any of them. I am open minded, but I am grounded in the scientific method.
Religiously, I am a militant agnostic. I don't know about what happens to us after death, and I don't know about God, and I am not in the least wishy-washy about it. "I don't know" is sometimes the correct answer to a question.
So, I don't know. I'm beginning to feel a little out of place in this group. What do y'all think?

Like the religion thing, I don't know what's after either. Not a bit wishy washy about it. But I am militant gnostic I think. It's because of what was before and now though that makes me this way. If someone can show me with wisdom where I'm in era, I will change. Just be nice!
Another answer is, do we know the beginning so well that we are ready to understand the end. Understand the beginning first, and then the end will come to you.
I can relate quite a bit to pagans/wiccans I am a ridiculous Idealist.
My mind is quite open, love learning new things, every day, I read voraciously. I don't tell people they are wrong. I'd love it if I could be a professional student.
I do not have worries about piercings. tattoos, sexual orientation,occupations or status or what "society" hails as good or bad.
I love good, straightforward communication. I ask questions and think freely and love to be creative.
LOL..ok, this is rather scrambled, but its me. I think I feel ok in this group.

As for opened/closed minded. Need definitions of same before deciding - but don't feel like checking 'em out right now. LOL
The way I see it, based on the info at bottom, .555000000 ppl share the same horoscope. Now no way can all .555etc ppl have the same kinda day.
So the way I sees it - any horoscope that sez my sign is gonna have a good day is MY horoscope and any of 'em that say my sign is gonna have a lousy day - those belong to the other .554999999 ppl. System works fine for me.

Have a suspicion, but that's all it is, that in order to believe that one's mind would have to be opened so wide one's skull would be in danger of being split in half. roflmaooooo
I think the ultimate open mind would have to be able to see that all is fundamentally empty.

Maybe part of the sentence is missing? Could the speaker actually have said something more along the lines of "it is the last time" that this product will be offered at this low, low, price? :X
