Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

Although OCD is debilitating and can ruin people's lives, it kind of feels good to know that most people who get are above average in intelligence. I just found this out and it makes me feel good that at least I am above average in intelligence. I know that this is not 100% true for every person with OCD, it is kind of good thing to know if you have OCD. It does make sense though because those with OCD know that the obsessions that they are feeling are not true and totally crazy; the sad thing is that the disease is sometimes more powerful than our minds and it becomes the dominant factor. Can anyone relate to this?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
