Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
those of us who have ocd try to eradicate all doubt which is impossible.
I have done the same things as you like when i lock the door, i think well did i really lock it or did i not lock it, and I know i did lock it bc i was at the door not even 5mins before hand.
so i know your frustration. i have been reading a book called "Freedom from obsessive-compulsive disorder: a personalized recovery program for living with uncertainty" by Jonathan Grayson Ph.D.
i am still trying to cope with my ocd, i accept it as a part of me, but i am really trying to work on having it undercontrol.
just keep on pushing along.
and stay strong

I wish I had a good tip to help, but keep hanging in there.
