Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
Does anyone repeat playing a song over and over again? It seems like I pick a favorite song and play it over tons of times. I wonder if this has to do with OCD.

I'm not sure if that's OCD, but I have been known to do it too. Or I'll pick an entire CD (rare, but when I find one I like), and listen to nothing but that for oh... I don't know... a month. It's tough to tell if it's just being a music fanatic who adores a song, or OCD. We need to get a panel of non-OCD members in here to give us the "outside" norm, haha.

Sometimes when I hear a song on the radio I can't get it out of my head.

I play it until it gets old and then I have to put it down for a long time. Too bad, really. Variety would probably be better, but I just can't seem to help it.

ill hear a song on tv and catch my self singing it constanlt y in my head annoying when its a elmo song or the wiggles

I DO THE SAME THING IF I LIKE A SONG, I WILL PLAY IT FOR HOURS UNTIL I GET TIRED OF HEARING IT.THEN IT IS HARD GETTING THE SONG OUT OF MY HEAD.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
