Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

I think i have relationship OCD. I have been dating my boyfriend for almost 6 months, and i keep doubting his feelings for me....for NO REASON. He has never given me a reason to doubt his feelings, i just do. It drives me nuts, because i KNOW deep down his feelings are true.
He's good to me. I mean, like, really good to me. He's never ever been mean to me like all my ex's (they were all abusive), he hasn't lied to me, when he says he's going to do something, he does it (unless something comes up,and he lets me know if he can't do something), he always tells me how much he cares about and loves me, and he always spends money on me and takes me out (to the movies, lunch) when he can.
I honestly DON'T know why i am doubting his love or feelings for me. And i know it hurts him....i can see it. When i talk to him about it, hes almost in tears every time. It hurts me.It hurts him, and it puts strain on our relationship.
I LOVE him. I know i do. And im NOT going to break up with him. That would tear me apart. I just really hate this doubting that's been going on since our 3 month mark... its not fair.. I don't want to ruin my relationship with him. He's a total sweetheart.. I just wish this would stop. Seriously.
What should I do?

You really have to just get used to the doubting but be aware that these are not your true feelings. Your OCD might try and trick you and say hey doesn't love you, its just fear based. You fear because you've got a really good thing going that it might end. Just stay strong and talk to him about it, im sure if hes a good guy he will try and help you with the doubt.

I struggle with OCD too and I know exactly how you feel, I've been on that intrusive thought too. What I did was to ignore it. I focused on something else (yes, it can take some time), and it helped, instead I got another thought. And everytime you try to ignore a thought and you get a new one, the old one doesn't seem so bad. It's the second you got a thought, when the thought feels horrible... but when it's replaced with a new one-that feeling of horrible will be gone, and you will wish you had that old one back. This is typical OCD and my advice for you is just that - ignore it and focus on something else =) x

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
