Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
I don't have that many coping skills for OCD but reassuring myself with what I've done is okay and there is no need to repeat. Also telling myself it's not real and letting it sink in relieves some pressure.
OMG
my BP is through the roof - I don't know where anything is! Why would someone put that there! I am trying to stay calm but feeling so overwhelmed.
My OCD is primarily pure obsessive(thought-to-thought) so this is pretty new for me.
