Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

Yeah they change but they still don't make any sense. They are still illogical and irrational something I have to keep in mind.

Yup mine change. My huge obsessions have been, thinking I'm going bald (i'm was 17 at the time), thinking i had a tape worm (this lasted for 1.5 yrs, also 17 yrs old), thinking i was going to throw up-everyday(lasted 2 yrs), thinking horrible thoughts that i was gay (this actually i am getting over because i actually allowed myself to think about it instead of avoid the thought about being gay- it was just thouhgts so now the thoughts don't really come into my head. Obsessions can change a lot. Going from one obsession to the next. It sucks but sometimes it's nice to move from one to the other when one is really bothersome. But it is no help for the OCD, it's still OCD no matter the obsession.

Im ready to start...
