Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
There is medication--any central nervous system stimulant, including caffeine--has been known to help. That's not advice to drink coffee--just an observation.
There is also cognitive therapy if your problem includes ADD or ADHD. A teen boy I knew well--he used to be my babysitter--had such therapy and taught himself how to run his brain.
If you don't have ADD or its relatives, get a second opinion from a psychiatric expert. If your age doesn't let you do this, see if you can get a school health advisor to help you.
Be patient with yourself, even if no one else is patient...
