Hello!
I have been taking Prozac for OCD for a little over three months now. I currently take 40mg daily, but have taken as high as 60mg. At 60mg, I found that my OCD was almost completely gone, which was somewhat of a miracle, but of course, it was too good to be true. I started to have bad side effects, like sleeplessness, bad dreams, and hyperactivity. I think I may have even had some hypomanic episodes. After seeing my psychiatrist, he said that it might be a good idea to go back down to 40 mg and augment it with Abilify for mood stabilization and such. I tried on 5 mg pill, and it made me mentally sick! I felt angry for no reason, I found myself getting irritated about people simply because they were there and I even started to have suicidal thoughts. Thank god that's finally out of my system. For this reason, I am thinking about switching to Luvox. I have heard a lot of good things about Luvox, especially for OCD, and I've heard it causes a lot of people to be sleepy, which would be great for me haha What do you guys think?

I've been on Luvox for a few months and it's working well for me. I take it at night so the sleepiness is a booster to my sleep med/not so bad during the day. I would give it a shot... regular SSRI's were never enough for me, my OCD was still all encompassing. Luvox has been helpful so far - not perfect, but I'll take all the help I can get.

I am on Luvox and it isn't working at all for me that I can tell. It does help with anxiety, but thats about it. I didn't FEEL any different physically until I got up to 150mg and at 200 mg it def made me tired. Its an excessive tired, where you can sleep ALL day, not just at night. Its almost like physical exhaustion. Hope this helps.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
