Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
i am new to this web site ( sort of ) and i am just wondering if there is a group for people suffering with ocd that actually can talk and discuss issues with out being judged. someone begged me to chat with them the other day and aginst my better judgement i actually tried to help this person. they said to me " if i was like you i would shoot myself." i thought it was ignorant and it made me not want to be a member of this web site. some of you on this community are really nice and dont judge people, but some of you, i want to say to you " would you like me to get your gun." any way, if there is a group that exists on this web site, i would like to know. thank.

thats crazy! i hope you reported them it seems like some people just are on here to poke fun or snoop around all i can say is ignore it only talk to friends no one else and know that most people on this site and all the people in the ocd groups are nice as far as i know from my own experience i hope you have a better experience we are all here for ya

There are idiots everywhere you go and no matter what you do. Ignore them. There are alot of good people here.

Everywhere you go, there is someone like that... Ignore it.. I know, easier said than done, especially having OCD..but please don't let this ONE person make you leave all the other wonderful load of support that is here. Sorry you had to go through this. God Bless You! Lori

thanks, i know most people on here are nice, but no i didnt report this person. it was on chat. i originally didnt want to talk to this person because i have read there posts. this person is not only young, but acts very childish. i usually dont even deal with people that present them selves in that way. when this person said that to me, i was infuriated, matter of fact this person did send me alot of messages, so i dont know why being like me would make this person shoot themselves.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
