started organizing crayons the other day- pinks with pinks- reds with reds and so on- i've really lost it- got mad at my sis cause she didn't put the food in the fridge in the right order and disorganization really gets to me !this just recently started affecting me and my life and i'm going insane! anyone else feel this way?

My mom had OCD when I was a little girl, and it was really hard to keep everything perfect for her so she wouldn`t yell at me. She yelled at me constantly for not having things just right. Now as an adult, I am not able to live with anyone or be in a relationship very well, because I am so stressed that I am not doing things right enough for them. All that yelling really messed up my head. Is there any way that you can live alone so you can have things your way and you don`t have to yell at people. I think people with extreme OCD are really better off alone, because they really damage the people around them with all of the yelling and demands. You see OCD isn`t just hurting you, it can hurt your loved ones too if you let it.

I somewhat agree with merry.I damaged my 20 yearold by yelling at her when she was growing up. she has issues now. she could never do anything right in my book. it does damage the people around you ,the key here is (IF YOU LET IT) like merry said. at the time i didn't know i had OCD. I learned too late that i had OCD but I stoped the cycle. I strongly disagree that you live alone. That is not the answer. Get help for it check into CTB. I DID NOT reapeat the cycle with my other child.It can be helped. It takes work but it can be helped. If you want to talk i am here.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
