Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.

I was diagnosed with GAD a few years back.....I'm sure everyone here can relate to how this stuff ebbs and flows...you may get a break for awhile..then bam...a complete onslaught. My current situation is that I'm going through this thing where I feel guilty...and I'll get that guilt cleared up and then I'll move on to something else to feel guilty about. Can anyone here relate to this..has anyone here done this?

Sounds just like me. I have scrupulosity, so I feel guilty about every single thing I do or think, for fear it might be sinful. For example, I have to read the Bible for a half hour each day, or I am besieged with thoughts that God isn't a priority in my life, so terrible things will happen to me and my loved ones as punishment. I KNOW this is ridiculous and warped, but can't stop fearing it anyway. That's the viciousness of OCD and anxiety, it doesn't let up! Sorry you are going through this.

Thank you for your reply...it really helps to know we're not alone in this stuff. It feels like OCD is this annoying bully that keeps us from feeling normal or ok with ourselves. Just when you think you might have a moment of peace...OCD comes in and says...."hey wait a minute...not so fast." Thanks again for your reply. =)

Im totally sick of it and having to bloody manage my symptoms. No one knows how hard this thing is to manage apart from us. Im so pissed right now grr.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
