Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Support Group
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a psychiatric disorder, more specifically, an anxiety disorder. OCD is manifested in a variety of forms, but is most commonly characterized by a subject's obsessive (repetitive, distressing, intrusive) thoughts and related compulsions (tasks or rituals) which attempt to neutralize the obsessions.
I have read your post a few times and have never seen your type of OCD before (if that is what it is).
I wish you had explained it better or gone into more detail. It is common for OCDers to use numbers in their O's and C's but they are just counting to a "safe" number or trying to avoid "unlucky" or :"bad numbers like 13 or 666 or whatever they think is not good or safe. But I have never read about so many numbers running thru someone's head. Plus, you wrote that you SEE them. Where do you see them?
Here is an article about a lesser known type of OCD that is not about numbers but about OCDers who cannot stop looking at people and cannot stop listening to certain sounds. maybe you can see yourself in the article.
If all else fails, I was going to suggest getting the phone # of the OCD shrink who wrote the article and calling him. Leave a message with him with your name and phone #. I did that years ago and this psychologist actually called me back and we talked for about 45 minutes. But if anyone can figure out what your OCD or number obsession is all about, it is this shrink. He has over 30 years experience with OCD and tic disorders.
Good luck.

Btw, do you see part of the title in the link about "people with OCD who notice things too much"? Might see yourself in it.
