Good Morning Everyone!
Here is my week 9 update. Today was weigh in day. I am continuing to slowly but surely inch down on the scale. I was 214.4 this morning which means Ive released 13.2 pounds since starting this journey the end of July. I wanted to average 1 to pounds a week so Im right where I wanted to be at this time. Ive decided to not make any new goals and to continue to work on the ones Ive already made. Im still struggling with the more exercise part of my goal but figure that will come as the weight continues to come off. During Labor Day week, I slipped with the ice cream. I had 4 of the low fat ice cream bars during that time period that we keep for Mike. He likes those after he has been out mowing in the sun. That being said, we only went to DQ for a cone once and that was actually allowed with my goal. All of my other goals are being met easily. So for now, Im just going to keep doing what Im doing because its working and hope to add more exercise as I begin to trust my knee and ankle more.
How are all of you doing? Ill leave you with a thought I have on my wall......
What if my eating were based on rational and nutritional choices rather than emotional ones? What changes would I make in my eating habits? What foods would I eat? What foods would I eat less of?
Hmmmmmmm..I dont know about you, but I always want to reach for a bowl of ice cream, a cookie or some other sugary treat when Im sad, angry, fearful or hurt..exactly what I did as a child. The fix for me is to not have it in the house because Im lazy. I wont go out and get it. J
I hope you have a great day! Linda

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
It absolutely works. I lost 10 lbs after being stuck at same weight for yrs. while stuggleing to lose even an oz.
Instead of extract I use canned white beans n I rinse the beans. can beans have a jel on them a serving is 140 cals. I onlt eat 1/4 cup daily. It really really does work.
