I do not have much to add, as I have been retired 15 years, every since I was 50. When I was working, I would take any job just to pay the bills. Sometimes, 2 or 3 at a time. I am so thankful for social security. But, when a person doesn't have a check coming in, thats a different story. My best to you...take care....

Make sure your hair and nails are looking nice and wear outfits that are flattering and fit well. It will make you feel confident and you will look great!

I think Kathy gave you great advice. I know the job market is different than it was 10 or even 5 years ago but I believe many employers are still looking for talented, capable employees.

Go in to your interviews with confidence (but not arrogance!) Make that prospective employer believe that you're the best choice for the job!

Kathy is so right with her advice as when you take care of yourself you will shine and that will make you feel good despite what anybody might think of you. Plus frequent smiling and a positive and happy attitude will help as well. Look at every interview as training for other interviews - be honest with what you think went wrong and have the courage to change it. Wishing you all the best.

You have written "I have a lot to offer an employer" - keep that on your mind, because that's the most important. If you can feel it so will the interviewer. And that's what most of them look for.
