Has your Dr. provided you with a diet plan? Like regular diets, I know there's a wide variety of suggestions on what is the ideal diet. I'd get something really specific from the Doc and follow it to the letter.
You can absolutely do this. And you will do it - not a doubt in anyone's mind.
Do what the doc saids and take just one day at a time...hugs....
Thank you all for the kind support!!
Today started smoothies, friuts only..and am going to be strict with myself. This path is about staying healthy!! :)
Also, a suggestion that I do know a bit about. I've had to be on soft food diets a couple times recently due to major dental work. I found myself feeling tired, fuzzy and cranky because I wasn't getting enough protein. I started adding greek yogurt (not sweetened) or protein powder to my smoothies. It helped me feel fuller longer and gave me the protein my body needed. You may already be doing this but thought I'd offer up the idea.
It was good to hear from you. You've been on my mind the past few days.
I agree, you could try protein powder in your smoothies mixed with skim milk or non fat plain greek yogurt. No sugar or fruit. You will get used to it and your blood sugar will go down.
