I stepped on the scale this morning. Since I began in Jan 11 I have lost 2 pounds making my current weight 248lbs. I feel pretty good about that. I think i expected a little more loss but i know now what i have to do to make even more happen. I've just gotta keep pushing myself harder.

I think that I am going to hide the scale and skip the next weekly weigh in. When is the one after that? I want to give myself some time to make this work. Hope everyone has a healthy weekend.

I will hold a weigh in on the 1st and 15th of each month to see how Im doing on my mini monthly goals of losing 10lbs a month. You may want to get in on those ones only? I know of some ppl that dont like to weigh weekly because seeing the weight go down a pound or two at a time can be frustrating when they are looking for a larger loss.
Good job on the 2lbs!

I def think Im gonna get in on your weigh ins. Im gonna have to do something with the scale though b/c i am the type of person that will step on it every chance i get, then get mad when it doesnt say what i want it to lol.

As much as it might be frustrating and irritating to not see the results on the scale you would like to see. I believe it is important to keep checking. For me anyways it keeps me in check. If i dont check the scale i dont know how my weight is. I didn't check for a year and i had gained 50 pounds.
For me it keeps me in check more then anything even when i dont see the results i like.
Out of sight out of mind i guess.
