Sugar Addiction Quiz
Just about every addiction has its handy questionaire that you will likely lie on the first time through. An astronauts wife took a similar alcoholism quiz in Cosmopolitan and when she finally stopped lying, she checked herself into rehab. In the HBO miniseries From the Earth to the Moon, the actress playing this woman depicted her as taking the quiz with a double rum and cola or other similar drink in hand. I will submit to you that if you take this quiz while eating a donut that you are addicted and dont have to finish the quiz. Get help now! For the rest of you, this quiz is worded so that the answer that shows your healthy lifestyle is True and there are twelve questions. Push Print Current Page on your computer and do this in pencil at home.

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

I drink sparkling water with lemon or lime and a few nuts will satisfy desire for treat how ever I allow once a week treat. I find I dont want milk chocolate or carmel any more.
I ate 2 cherry tarts home made and tiny. they were not ladened with sugar but sweetened with stevia.
Good luck to everyone.......
So for absolutely NO candy, cookies, cake, pie, donuts, or ice cream for six weeks. It's been tough, but I haven't allowed any of those things to pass my lips.
After Lent is over, I will allow myself ONE normal portion of a sweet ONCE a week.
I wrote a post a couple weeks ago about Tomato Soup. Second ingredient was HFCS. Seems I had cut back on sugar enough that having so much of it in one dish made me quite sick! I'll have peanut butter occasionally and see that the brand I buy has added sugar. Time to change that one.
Other than that, I allow 1T about once a week on my berries in oatmeal. Other than that, I don't add sugar to my food. I do eat a lot of fruit so I get a lot of sugar that way.
I'm curious though, the article mentions coffee a lot and I don't really understand why. I do drink a good bit of coffee but use Stevia and no creamer. Why is coffee an issue?
