What men like is what attracts them to a woman. Once he gets to know her then he will like her for more than looks. It's great that there are men in the world that prefer a big woman.

It would creep me out a little when a guy seemed only interested in my looks. I guess you could call it intuition, but my guts usually says "run" now that I've learned to love myself. Yes when I was desperate for love, it felt good, (even if it was creepy), just to have attention from a male. Now, I realize that I and YOU deserve to be respected for people and not used for looks thin or heavy. Guys are visual though so let's be real about this, but if that's all that's there...Do you really want to invest in the guy?

I haven't read all of the posts in this thread, but here's my take on it...

The first thing that attracts a stranger to a stranger, is their looks...period. To think otherwise, is just unrealistic. It would be nice to wear our personalities on our sleeves...but...not so much. Just think, how many people you WOULDN'T meet if no one wanted to talk to you because of how you look...then that would be offensive...right? We all have ideas of how we want to meet people and how we want people to see us for who we are and not what we look like, but the realistic, bottom line is, people SEE us first.

Look at it this way...would you eat something that looked like crap? Or would you pick at it and get to know the ingredients, then decide if you liked it? If someone serves you something that isn't pleasing to the eye...our first reaction is to turn up our noses and push it away. It's not a great metaphor, but a close one. If someone doesn't want to take the time to get to know ,me...their loss. And hell, maybe it's better for me and them both if they don't get to know me. Maybe the person they "think" I am is better for us all!! LOLOL:)
