Hi, I hope to join slimming club tomorrow, bit worried about getting out there and mixing as I have got so big and have been hiding.
I know I must do something about weight as my breathing is awfull. please pray i do go tomorrow and achieve staying there and not running out.

I had these worries when I went to join my first club
what I did was phone the leader the day before and let her know how worried I was and she suggested I go in a bit early and she would talk me through what usually happened at meetings and registered me that helped to settle me in :)

Let us know how it goes. I went to a swimming event once with a friend. I was nervous. It turned out there were 3 other people my size! You never know!

I ment slimming ..sorry! I don't know why I said that because I can't swim very well and rarely do.

Go for it girl even at our age we never give up trying. Just when I thought I was finally accepting at 53 I was told in March that i have Graves disease. Only 15% with graves are overweight and I'm one of them. My legs are so weak I can't even think of walking. Noiw they tell me not to till they get my heart rate normal but still want me to change my diet. But I 'm not gonna give up and let all this win the battle.
