Any great ideas about avoiding food?
Well last night I did succumb to a great temptation, pistachios. Yesterday I did go shopping while hungry ( I don't recommend that-ever)
and came home with some really healthy foods. Pistachios wasn't a good choice. I lost my willpower. 4 handfuls of pistachios at 11pm was my carb intake for the whole day. So here I am at day 1 again. Wish me luck. I know that I can do this!

and the easiest way to avoid temptations in the house is to simply not buy them..nighttime is the hardest time for most anybody...
it's when you are sitting around the house watching tv, playing on the computer, doing your mindless, stuff...or when most of us are...it's the unwind time...it's the when we are looking to munch time.
I am getting ready to have gastric bypass surgery in 4 weeks...but I have been on a supervised diet for 10 months. in that time, I have lost, as of this morning, 98 pounds.
Everybody assumes, that to have this surgery is taking the easy way out, but let me assure you, it isn't.
It has meant that I have had to learn to give up, in advance every single bad habit I ever had with food, and develop new eating habits, and will never again be able to eat more than one cup of food at a time, and that is only after a year...but for me...it is so worth it...
the point is...with the proper daily movement, and my number one weight loss tool...plain ol water...and putting down the junk...the weight does come off...and your elbow bends in 2 directions...not just in the direction of your face...lol
I drink 108 ounces of water a day...that is a gallon...I don't drink anything but water and skim milk...
a minimum is 64 ounces...for anybody...
I started at 409 pounds last October 23,2009.
I am now at 313...my goal is 175...I will get there...with or without surgery...I will get there....because now I am on a mission...I treat it as a game now...A game I refuse to lose.
I just never sabotage myself by going to the grocery store when I am hungry...You cannot eat, what you do not buy...And it is your own fault if you buy it...so whatcha gonna do...
