Hello All,
I am new to this group. I have been on here for a couple months on another group.
I have been struggling with my weight since I can remember I have been on and off diets since I was 9 years old. Yes 9 years old. I didn't start to get over weight until I was about 18. As a teenager I was anorexic and lately I have become a binge eater.
I hate this. I can't find the motivation and have a fear of actually losing the weight. I am not sure why. I just feel lost and looking for people who have felt the same way. If I am in the wrong place I apologize and I will leave all you wonderful people be.
Just looking for a way out of all of this without making myself worse.

Your not in the wrong place at all. I'm right there with you with not being able to find the motivation. I was always heavy my whole life, I was put on a diet at at a young age too. In my junior year of highschool I was between 215-230 pounds. I don't know what make me change my habits, but suddenly I started to see weight come off. I noticed I was eating right and even exercising. At my high school graduation I was down to 190 pounds, and the night before I left for college I weighed myself; I lost another 20 pounds and was down to 170. After coming back from college (litteraly 2 days later), I felt that I was heading no where. So, I turned to eating. Slowly the weight was coming back on. I even turned to purging, but I still gained the weight. Ive tried to lose weight but I had no motivation. Its about three years later and I've gained 110 pounds. Even after gaining all the weight I still couldnt find motivation. Then I recently found out I have an event coming up in October 2012. And I knew this was my chance to get down to the weight I've always wanted to be. And thats when it hit me; the only thing that can motivate me is an upcoming event. Think about it, in highschool I lost the weight so I could go to college as a new me. But, when I came back, what was my motivation then? I had none. I know once this event in october of next year passes I can easily just gain the weight again. But I've learned my lesson. I had something great and I let it go. Once I get down to my goal weight, I'm never going to let go of that ever again. If you need to talk I'm here. Your not alone. Theres so many people in the same boat as you, including me. Welcome to the group :)

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
