The scale has been good. I don't even check on my old fashion sliding block scale anymore and with me always checking on daily and making me insane..I now go by on what my medical doctor office visits says.

I stayed a week on plan with my food journal and next week visit to my doctor, I will know how I did. I won't buy another scale,,It feels good when I see in my notebook on the healthy food choices am making.

You're right--weighing too often can make you crazy! There are constant fluctuations. It's more reliable to notice how your clothes are fitting. That's the true indication of FAT loss. The scale can reflect loss of water or loss of muscle (which we DON'T WANT). Loss of FAT will result in a smaller waist and fitting into clothes that were too small.

Yes that is how I did it by my clothes. Clothes are more accurate than the scale.

thats what i am doing now, i will be checking per week only at gym, and believe me it was so positive boost when after one week i saw scale showing 3 lbs down........................

started at 182 lbs (on 22th sep 2010), currently at 178 lbs..........

I agree on letting our clothes feel to see our progress. My tummy is over 60 inches..and I know with proper exercise and choosing wisely with food, Will drop a size.

Now that summer is over, and soon, putting on winter coat,which I have the most time with. So am hoping that next fall, will drop a size and seeing my tummy shrink!
