Motivation is a real problem for me too and I have yet to find something that keeps me going.
Good luck!
Water aerobics sounds fun. I've never tried it before. I haven't even been swimming in years because I'm so afraid to be seen in a swimsuit.
Is it a really good workout?
Enjoy your water aerobics! Stars are a good idea.
I was talking with my husband the other night while he was watching a TV show called Jockey's. They have to be around 109-112 for weight, no matter their height. I was like, wow, I'd have to lose a whole person to get down to that weight!! Can you imagine that, I'm carrying around a whole extra person!! UGH!
Why does a person sometimes not do what they enjoy so much? I love water aerobics even though I can't swim. It is a good workout.
I just had a heart stress test yesterday. I have to have them because I am overweight, a diabetic, have circulation problems and am on blood thinners, have high cholesterol and trigs too.
I just bought a new bathing suit at Walmart -I was surprised they had my size which is a 3X. My daughter had the lap band surgery and it works great for some and I hope it does for her. I know 2 people it didn't work for so far. One lost 8 lbs in 3 months and another lost 9 lbs in 4 months since they still turn to food like before.
I want to find someone who will be a partner with me for the Y so we can encourage each other to go. I don't want to go out to eat afterwards or shop with the person, just get to the Y and help get them to go too. We don't even have to do the same things. I am going to ask about this. I think I read they had this available and if they don't, maybe they will start a program like that.

..."This morbidly obese woman, who weighs in at (well it was one of the thinnest weights I had ever been at)...presents with (you know the rest).
I was crushed. When I had my gallbladder out I was the thinnest I had been in about 10 years. I threw up daily, due to being sick, and was wearing a size 14. Morbidly obese? Hell, I thought I was doing good.
It's horrible that such a stupid word can send us all of the deep end. It just sounds so earth shattering or something.
Good luck with the water aerobics, I always thought they were fun.
