So I have been extremely stagnant in my weight due to only eating healthy about half of the time, it's so annoying. Plus I've been using my roommates old scale that just keeps displaying the same number over and over again. I don't even like the scale, so yesterday I ordered my own. I need to get down past the 150s for my weight, which I have seen on the scale so many times without changing, so I'm hoping that the new scale I ordered will be at least something new to look at, and maybe get me through this funk until I get out of the 150s and get down to the 140s. The scale should be here in a week from now, let's hope this changes it up enough to help me get into it a little more.
Anyone else have any other small differences or ways to get yourself more excited/a nice change of pace in their weightloss journey?

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
Oh I am re starting and now hit 200. My goal is 140 so I just started back with few small changes and working out. I like finding new healthy recipes. That helps if I am bored. Wishing you the best hitting 140
Focus on the process, not the product.
The number on the scale is not the process, it is the product of either doing things right or wrong. You have to keep making right choices for a healthier lifestyle in order to get the product you want.
I can also tell you that if you are not happy with who you are now, you will not be happy with yourself at a lighter weight. I have always stated, and it have been proven time and again, that the first step in living a healthier life is to win the "battle of the mind". You have to rise up against any voice, be it your own or someone else, that tells you anything negative that will get in your way of achieving your goals.
A new scale is not going to help you change anything. Having a solid healthy vision for your live and who you want to be will be the driving force to getting you to your goals.
Anyway good luck with your goals!!!
