Just wondering how you stay motivated when the scale is not on your side? I mean, I feel l ike I've been working really hard for the past 22 days. I wasn't supposed to weigh myself until 4/6 but got excited and hopped on this morning. lol. I know I know...bad Me. I've been pretty consistent I have only not done my walk 2 days...but not in a row. I don't know if I'm eating enough calories... I dunno...it's frustrating. Just wanted to vent a little. Anyone else struggling with this? Thanks.

It could be your period do you have it or is it around the corner. I can gain up to 10 pounds from it. I always have avoided the scale and it took weighing myself everyday to reolize how much my weight can fluctuate from day to day. I know so many will say don't watch the scale and for awhile I was doing that and only weighing myself once every other week or once a month. Now I do it everyday and take an average. Last week one day I gained 4 pounds overnight, than a few days later I lost 5 pounds in a day.

well, did you loose?? how many calories did you loose? how are you walking, fast, or on hills or what?? sorry this are the things i was just wondering. speaking of periods, the week before my period i drop a good amount of weight and then the week of, i only loose a VERY small amount! but i have to look at it like a loss it a loss not matter if it is big or small...that is why i asked if you lost! dont get discouraged, it sounds like you are on the right path for sucess! message me if you need to talk or want to answer my questions! i am a walker too, i walk 3 miles an hour! so...mabey i can help you in that aspect! alright well have a great day and i hope to hear from you soon!

The scale is very slow for me too, but I just bought new clothing and fit into a smaller size.. So my bulk is rearranging I feel..
Also hormones are evil, evil things.. It stinks to be a woman sometimes..

LOL, I like women regardless, and being a man isn't always a walk in the park...

Seriously though, I understand, intellectually anyway, what you mean. At times it seems our own bodies are working against us.

What I hate is you think you are doing good and your scake says on ething, but when you go tothe doctor it is like no progression has accurred.

Thanks for the support guys. I may even be building muscle from the walking I am doing. When you have this much weight to lug around it's ALOT to move ya know? I guess as long as I am continuing to TRY it can't be all bad right??? lol The scale is the devil!!
