I drink the equivalent of 2 cups of coffee a day and I put Truvia in it - which is processed but I like that it comes from the Stevia plant. I also don't mind "Stevia in the Raw" or "Monk Fruit in the Raw." The rest of the day I drink water plain or water with lemon if I am out.

I avoid Splenda as much as possible (except anything that is deemed sugar free, no sugar added, etc is made with splenda now) but if I want chocolate or something store bought sweet it's usually made with splenda. I won't go near Equal or Sweet'N Low.

Not to go off topic too much but, I think folks just need to do a little digging and find out info on all the options and how they are made (and reported possible side effects) to make informed decisions on what we put into our bodies. I think we all, or even further back - our parents - just got so relaxed over the years with the convenience of things and new and amazing flavors, we all as consumers forgot to stop and ask questions what is this made of, what does this do, is it healthy, can this potentially hurt me, why is this synthetic, how is it made, etc

fnk. u are so right. I'm a lable reader. it is to hard to find foods that our bodys need. yes I again that most people don't know what all wwe put in our bodys n claim it as foods n as health foods.
I remember wwhn we could take a box of cake mix n buy food ingred.nlist on bg/box n make cake identally as box cake mix ingred say.
Now it taks a few labs to put togetjer a simple cake.

in winter I have a few potted veg's. in spring n summer I still hav potted plants n veggie garden. I freeze as much as I can, to get me throught the winter.
I also freeze berrys peachs pears...

I like taste n I enjoy it. I don't eat grease white flour. Recently I gave u wheat flour but I won't give up diet coke.

I cut back way back but not gonna give it up.

For now I still have pleasure of being legally allowed to have soft drinks. I'm not deprive ing myself of soft drink that I find it to be 1 of few my pleasures. No I will not give up my diet coke.
Snippy I'v always been scared of trucks n truck drivers. it's just a thing. some people are scared of spiders ... mine just happens too be simi trucks. espically white trucks but, aw, those red coke cola trucks
I too have dashound. I have mini, redish brown short hair. he's 7 yrs old, n weighs 5 lbs. Your a good neighbor/person, impart being that you have dashounds
