Hi, I don't know any where else to post but as each day passes I get a little more worried..
I am a 25 year old (female) with a 4 year old daughter. Best with me this might be long
This all started December 26th 2017. I had an annoying sore throat, feeling like a lump in throat, right tonsil swollen -about a grade 2-3 swelling (left normal) and a swollen lymph node on right side of neck.
Jan 10th I saw my doctor. We sent out a strep culture which was negative
Jan 24th he put me on a round of antibiotics to be safe. Thy did nothing
Feb 7th still no change. Swollen lymph nodes in my neck but the one was still but which was causing the neck to be sore . Doc sent refferel to ENT. Appointment was for end of March.
I have bloodwork done routinely because of meds I'm on for mental health. My wbc was high for a while. Feb 7th blood work my wbc was high (14.5), platelets (407), neutrophils (9.70 and lymphocytes (3.6) so just over the normal limits.
Feb 19th I went to emerge who booked an ultrasound that j was supposed to get for the next day. They did more bloodwork which showed normal except efgr was low (77) and crp high (20.6)
They called me for ultrasound the next day telling me they would get me in end of March. I went back to emerge the 21st of Feb.
Feb 21st did more blood work. Mono test was negative. Did ultrasound while I was there. Doc gave me a single dose of dexamethasone to hopefully shrink the node
Report basically says the lymph node is measuring 1cm with 2 smaller adjacent lymph nodes seen.
March 24th I saw ENT who said ears node and throat look fine from what can see but book a scope. He said the lymph node "definitlry wasn't normal but wasn't horribly abnormal"
April 6th I had the scope. Everything looks fine. And because it "looks" on the ultrasound and "feels" when touched benign to sit tight and he'll see me in 2 months.
I see ENT again June 7th.
Now this last week I've been noticing these dull aches in my collar bone. Not bad enough to need pain relief but uncomfortable. Other less annoying dull aches in the bones around my shoulders and a bit around my legs and feet but just barely noticable so far

Ok, so let me try to ease some tension a bit. Swollen lymph nodes can be a few things, and does not necessarily mean lymphoma. And usually, with lymphoma, you DO NOT feel aches and pains in your lymph nodes. Actually, one symptom can be when the doctor palpates the lymph nodes is no pain at all.
Also, even though your initial blood work came back not normal...it could have indicated an infection. The fact that it came back pretty normal the second time should put your mind at ease. If you had lymphoma, I would expect your blood work to get worse and worse each time. In fact, if your blood work the first time indicated anything bad, your doctor would have referred you to a specialist right away.
I don't want you to worry. You could just have inflammation that is taking a while to go down. It happens. If you are getting blood work, and there is nothing that is alarming the doctors, there is nothing to worry about. But if it makes you feel more comfortable, flat out ask your doctor what are some of the reasons you could have an enlarged lymph node and I'm sure they can explain it to you. Just let them put your mind at ease.
