Second post since they are kind of different (first one specific to orthotics).
Pain started with little toe pain and I also noticed my feet burned, or felt very sore from the inside. I went to a podiatrist thinking maybe it was a bunion but he said it was not. Then I noticed burning pain plus some numbness. I went to my GP for testing and that is when he said it's something they call neuropathy. He did blood work and found out that I'm low in vitamin B12, which I guess is one of the causes. (I also have gastritis so this could be from the meds for that).
My problem is, I am having such issues finding shoes. As in my other post, I have given up on the orthotics. I did find a comfy pair of Sketchers Go Walks, but I need a good walking shoe. We are going away in a week where I will be on my feet for 5 days straight. I tried a saucony but my little toe is hurting in them. Today I also ran out and got Sketchers Memory Foam. Anyone try these, and if so, are they ok walking shoes where I'll be on my feet all day? I have also tried New Balance extra wide. Width D didn't work but the store is ordering width E so that is my last chance (will be in the store in a couple days).
Anyone know about the Sketchers?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I wish I was back at the level you are. However, I didn't take my own advice. Many years later, I'm without the feeling in my feet and that's just the start. However, that's where I started to become aware that something was wrong. This will not go away on its own and there are no meds that solve it. They take some of the pain away, but they begin to cause other problems, which complicates the disease and your life. I wish you well and please enjoy walking around; don't take it for granted. You don't want to spend most of your time sitting with your feet up, wishing you could go out with friends, etc. Peace.
