The most important advice i would say is learning relaxation/grounding techniques. I've dealt with this pain since i was 6 and found pain to be often a mental battle. I feel a strong mind is the key I dealing with pain. Myself I can usually keep myself "above" the pain mentally, thus it's not as much of a "in my face" problem. Emotions like depression/sadness due to our problems will greatly increase our pain. It's truly hard to keep our minds in a good place all the time and even I crave for a well placed bullet at times, yet keeping our pain"behind" us of "below" us has helped me. Many therapist and Psychologist specialize in chronic pain and it wouldn't hurt to go see those to learn many different coping skills. There's also lots on youtube worth checking out. Hope this helps and My Best to You, Blaine

I just wondered how you are doing after seeing your post......
I have gone to great links to make the pain subside, although most of it has not been too successful. I had a tarsal tunnel surgery and it was awful. Then I have had shots ...ouch! last I had pain stimulators put in my spinal chord and they helped . They did lessen the amount of pain meds I have to take ,which was the purpose. Good Luck in whatever you choose. keep in touch , Luan
