This is the way I see it: (sorry for the people that can not take xyrem)

Stimulants just treat the symtum of narc, the feeling of being tired.

The xyrem changes the sleep waves/ stages to be closer to normal stages of sleep.

Now that I have seem the graphs I want to make sure I get it. I wish I could scan it onto a post for everyone to see.

So is Xyrem on prescribed if you have Cats?

I believe it was originally prescribed for N w/C...correcting the sleep stages would help with that...then they started seeing that N w/o C also benefited. So many college kids at the convention were taking about they were failing or struggling with classes before they started Xyrem...now they are on the dean's list...amazing

I am so stressed that I have been taken off of Xyrem and Adderall XR. It seems both were affecting my thyroid medicine negatively. I agree that the high dose of thyroid hormone I am on is extremely necessary and that I can not and should not have anything interfere with it, but now I have to learn how to cope with EDS all over again. I was put on Ambien CR for sleep but my insurance only approves 3 refills a year, so I am not sure what I am going to do about that. It just really sucks that I survive and get through thyroid cancer only to have to lose my N medicine.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
