Arizonahugs- hope your kids are doing better today. Our biological, "adopted", and four legged kids are always a concern aren't they? LOL My youngest son, almost 27 years old, has always tried to parent me (which is really sweet) but if someone or something caused him any pain...well, katie bar the door cause this mom would be after that individual!
It is nice to see how caring and empathic so many people who post on this site seem to be towards one another. You always have something nice to say and are very open with your wisdom and experience. Thank you Arizonahugs.

My doc is sending me to a bariatric (sp?) specialist. Some blood tests she ran have her really concerned. It seems that I'm extremely malnurished, all my vitamin levels and key components are either way low or don't even registar. Says that that explains the hair thinning and inability to grow nails ect. . . I've been put on a ton of different supplements and made to drasticly change my diet, veggies and lots and lots of proteins.
Hopefully the specialist will be able to figure out what's going on.
I'm not sure how to feel about any of this
I'm off the meds for the N. I'm now not taking anything. Thankfully so far since the last attack I haven't had one but I know that doesnt mean anything. I'd love to know what causes the pain but there are so many different possibilities. I hope you can figure yours out. Yeah, how are you supposed to monitor a spot that's inside on your liver...hmm.. I dont think the doc really thought that out.
I was told by the doctors when I was in the hospital that when you have a pain in the abdominal region it could be a hundred different things. I was like "great, so you are going to keep me in here for a year doing test after test to figure it out!" In the end they still didn't find anything out in the hospital but I still have pain.
I get so angry with doctors and all these effing meds. I wish I could go back to not knowing about any condition and not take any meds. I might still be sick but at least I would be happier!
I know what you mean about the meds. Thanks to some I take I can't even enjoy a sunny day without worrying about getting a sun burn. 20 min of direct sunlight without sun screen can mean a 3rd degree burn for me. Ignorance isn't bliss sadly. I'd rather know and be able to explain why I'm feeling the way i am then wonder constatnly. If only there were a pill or shot that could heal it all and never have to deal with it again. . .. wishful thinking I guess. . .
IDK, b/c men and women are wired different I think ignorance can be a bliss for men. Unless it got really bad, I might know I had something but I just wouldn't care. But as you said you would constantly wonder, as would most women.
I do like your wishful thinking about the one shot cure all!
