Upon looking closely the chiropractor saw that the space between my vertebrae had increased minimally, which I attribute to the myofascial release therapy. My therapist did mention how my spine was crunched down on itself when she first treated me.
Someone vaguely related to me here has one of those special contraptions you use to hang upside down safely. I would like to try it sometime.
My neighbor had one, and I tried it. I felt wonderful for about a month afterward. Of course, they moved away and I've forgotten the name of the equipment.

There's a weird pilates machine I've seen demo'd that looks comfy through changing pressure patterns, and stretching things in different ways. Maybe if the work stuff goes ok I'll think about it.
I've still in two minds about the roller. I'm just so damn hypersensitive and react badly to so many things, but the idea of getting 'just the right' roller and using it on my back is very tempting to try. I think sometimes being cautious financially is a good thing as it helps you pause before buying!!
