Also, this illness needs to be helped through a number of therapies, a multidisciplanry approach, I dont think one can just take meds and have that be enough. What else do you do for relief? Moist heating pad? warm bath with epson salts? Stretching? Some mild exercise.. I plan to get back to swimming once the pelvic pain is gone, I totally miss it!!!
My new years team will consist of a PT for pelvic floor work. ( root cause), a myofascial release therapist to work on structural issues, pain managment dr, exercise/stretching, and cognitive therapy work.
What else do you do for your pain? Again, I am sorry it is so bad, I know what you are tslking about.
