Wikipedia says Feldenkrais aims to reduce pain or limitations in movement, to improve physical function, and to promote general wellbeing by increasing students' awareness of themselves and by expanding students' movement repertoire.
LOL Im still not so sure...
Sharogold has used it. If you look her up in the archives you can find her website and email her. She is very good at explaining things in language we mere mortals can understand.
Feldenkrais? I think it's just a careful way of moving, breathing, being more 'inside' yourself. I've heard good things about it helping others too, so it's worth trying a few more sessions. When you're doing the movements it's more about relaxing into the movement and focusing on slowing your breathing, helping you feel more mentally refreshed.
The movements won't aggravate your trigger points, but you'll notice the extra movements for a little bit. It'll help your overall flexibility as well hopefully calming your mind too.
It sounds so refined and I'm so not. Lol
Let us know how it goes, and how you are feeling.

Do keep us posted because I have it on my radar and would like to know if it helps. My question is this, for those of us with hypermobility, can it be a tool to give us more awareness and thereby more control.
Hmm, Pumpkin, wonder why Sharon dropped her website. Hope it's for good reasons. Like she's just so busy now that she's well that she can't keep it up...
