That is what I hope this is. In the last week the pain has really ramped up. Yesterday standing in my aunt's patio at dusk I felt a pain in my inner left thigh, a really sharp superficial pain. I went home and massaged and massaged it. I think I need to stop because the area is getting inflamed. There are also lesser sharp pains on the outside of this hip and the other, plus a bunch of other places where pain pops up.
I have going to the Watsu massage once a week and I am surprised at how effective it is. It is bringing much more mobility to my spine, and thus affects all the bones that radiate from the spine. My left hip is continuing to descend from where it was hiked up high for so long. So, I hypothesize, the way the weight of my torso pushes on my leg has changed so the thigh muscles are in a sort of panic.
Wishful thinking? I am going to see my new pain management doctor today, but I doubt he will be any help. I just need for him to prescribe medications.
Oh, and I cannot use my flector patches because I had prolotherapy several weeks ago and you are not supposed to use anti-inflammatories after that. Ouch.

Hello- I am new to the group

My therapist really knocked some sense into me last Friday about my spending. She said that there are needs and there are wants. She said that there is always going to be cheap stuff to buy, but do I need it? The answer is mostly "no". So today, I am taking back some things that I bought online at Kohl's, namely a 9 x 12 rug and a quilt for my bed. I also bought sheets that I don't need...
I do the flow motion (think of your body in the water moving) to help the muscles relax naturally.
Hope this helps.
In what part of your body did you have prolotherapy?
Still feeling the severe pain in the left inner thigh. And all the other wandering pains. I go for Watsu tomorrow. I am interested to see what that does.
