Finished plasmapheresis on Monday and had catheter removed the same day. Feeling much stronger now. Thinking positive thoughts that this strength holds until I get moved over the next week to week and a half.
My lot has been cleared and batter boards installed to mark foundation layout. The lot is even more beautiful than I had imagined.

I've lost most of the weight I gained while inactive and my summer clothes fit again! Too bad the weather is cold and rainy and doesn't feel summery here. But I'm ready if it warms up!

Wow Dee you are right we did miss good news Wed....I miss that!! I so enjoy hearing everyones good news..Think it does us all good...Well my good news still able to walk every am, This week was able to do 5 days so that is a miracle in itself....Legs a bit sore so gonna take a day off but felt great to be able to do it..Also had gotten a ct scan of chest due to blood tests that I got that came out not good, and thank god all ok there....Took another set of blood tests and are back to normal..Soooo happy about all of that!! I see neuro in a few weeks so we will see what report I get...So thats my good news for today..thanx for the reminder Dee..Love this hearing everyones good things!!!! hugs to all

I lifted 3 lb weights yesterday BEFORE my ivig. Two years this month for thymectomy with thymectomy. Neuro says I'm much improved-I think so too...moving to monthly ivig.

About three years ago, I quit making lists of things to do because I simply never could finish or even start the list. I was too tired and I didn't know why. Well, my friends - I am making lists again and even completing what's on them. I am enjoying a little extra energy in the morning and the evening. I do have a bad day every now and then. 1-2 per week. That is better than 1-2 good days and all the rest bad.

I have finally understand (I am very hard headed) that I am what I eat. So, I am trying to eat fresh foods, you know - all the stuff that is good for us and not the stuff that is bad. I can really tell the difference if I "cheat".

Thanks for remembering to bring this up! I would hate to miss posting something positive! I love reading these!

I have two bits go good news actually three. First I have lost 25 lbs along withe my prednisone taper. Dr wanted me to drop some weight. My second is I had to have an emergency appendectomy last Thursday and I got through it with no MG problems. Yay!!!! I was able to come right off the vent at the end of my surgery. My best news is my son will be here satuday to visit. He'll be here for a week. I can't wait. I hope you all have at least a little good in the past week.

Take it one day at a time. If you happen to cheat on your diet just let it go and start again. I'm not doing a specific diet I'm just eating healthy and smaller portions. The only bad thing is it's very difficult for me to exercise. I'm not strong enough, but maybe someday. Good luck with the weight loss. I know it's hard.

Thanks for keeping up the Wednesday good news thread however I've been Mia as of late but and I'm late in this post but here it is anyway : currently on 1 mg of prednisone every other day and will be drug free on Aug 15th god willing.

It's good to read everyone else's good news :) keep it up all as we get to do it again this Wednesday .
