When I read research papers, I often skip to the end to see what the authors concluded. Here is what they said:
"In conclusion, our results show that refractory MG patients are a subset of MG patients with clinical features that are distinct from those of non-refractory patients. These patients are more likely to be female and have an earlier age of onset, thymomas, and anti-MuSK antibodies. The unique characteristics of refractory patients suggest underlying biological differences between the non-refractory and refractory MG groups."
